ARO Cone Check™ Diaphragm Pumps |
Developed especially for handling high-solids and abrasives like those found in stone, clay and glass applications, the new Cone Check Pumps offer the process professional a high-performance, high-endurance alternative to traditional diaphragm pumps with ball-style checks. In laboratory and field tests, the new ARO Cone Checks have proven to outlast standard checks by as much as 5-to-1 according to the manufacturer. In one test involving abrasive ceramic slurry, the trial Cone Check Pump lasted 2-years without failure. Utilizing a hexagonal valve design that opens and closes with each cycle of the pump, the cone check is more suited to easy-flow passage of particles and abrasives while maintaining critical back pressure. |
Cone Check™ Diaphragm Pump Features:
- Durable-yet-Flexible Hexagonal Checks Provides Smooth Material Passage with Very Low Turbulence and Minimal Manifold Wear.
- Fluid Flow Options: Top-to-Bottom (For Avoiding Pump Pack-Out of Abrasives and Semi Solids), Bottom -to-Top (For Clean Fluid Transfer)
- Outlasts Ball-Checks by as much as 5-to-1
- Available in 1-1/2", 2" and 3" Port Sizes, Aluminum, Cast Iron and Stainless Steel Construction. 85 to 195 GPM Maximum Flow
- Patented Stall-Free Air Motor / Valve Design
- Ice-Free Operation
|

- Bolted Construction for Leak-Tight Integrity
- 5-Year Warranty

ARO Powder Transfer Systems |
The air-operated Powder Transfer System is designed specifically for the transfer of process powders up to 40-lbs/cu.ft (721-kgs/cu.m). ARO's new Powder Transfer System, a modified diaphragm pump, incorporates patented stall-free air valving together with a new air induction system (patent pending) that boosts efficiency and eliminates powder pack-out at startup.
The new ARO Powder Transfer System replaces messy manual powder transfer processes and has proven to be much more economical and more simple than large installed "systems".
In rigorous testing (both laboratory and field), the ARO® Powder Transfer System has proven to routinely deliver pack-free, trouble-free powder transfer at a fraction of the cost that installed systems demand. |
Features of the ARO® Powder Transfer System
- Replaces Messy, Inefficient Manual Processes
- Reduces Airborne Contamination-Through Direct Container-to-Recipe Transfer
- Patented Air-Induction System Avoids Powder Pack-Out
- Economical & Simple-Unlike Large, Complex, Costly Installed Systems
|

- Portable: Can be Easily Moved from Site-to-Site
- Available in 2" or 3" Port Sizes, Stainless Steel or Aluminum Body
- Can be Applied to a Wide Variety of Dry Process Powders including Fumed Silica, Carbon Black, Expanded Mica, Micro-Bubbles, Acrylic Resins, Silicones and more.

New 2" and 3" (Ports) Shock Blocker® Pump Pulsation Dampeners |
IR ARO announces an important addition to their line of Shock Blocker Pump Pulsation Dampeners. Designed for aggressive process fluid applications, the new Shock Blocker 2" and 3" port models feature an automatic adjustment valve that provides consistent, continuous pump pulsation reduction, according to the manufacturer. First introduced to market in 1990, the Shock Blocker 1" (port) non-metallic models created an important breakthrough in fluid pulsation management by combining critical features like enlarged air chambers and fracture-resistant fluid inlets with a patented Air-Tamer automatic air adjust assembly that allowed the operator to "set it and forget it." Built with many of these same critical features, the new 2" and 3" metallic models continue the tradition of compatibility, convenience and consistency that has become the Shock Blocker benchmark. |
- Automatic Air Adjustment- compensates for fluctuations in fluid pressure without operator intervention
- Significant Pulsation Reduction- the new Shock Blockers deliver an average 60% pulsation reduction at 150 GPM flow with 60 PSI back pressure
- Perfect For Process Applications- pulsation reduction in long piping runs help prevent costly fluid pipe and downstream valve damage
- Built for High-Flow/Aggressive Fluid Applications- 2" models can handle up to 159 in.3 maximum fluid volume, and 3" models up to 509 in.3 maximum fluid volume
- Broad Pump Compatibility- choose from aluminum, cast iron or stainless steel body materials for optimum pump-to-pulsation dampener compatibility
- Broad Fluid Compatibility- choose from Santoprene®, Nitrile, Teflon® or Urethane for optimum fluid-to-diaphragm compatibility
- Bolted Construction- for leak-free vessel integrity and a safer work-site
- Ultra-Rugged Construction for Long Service Life- both inside and out, the new Shock Blockers are built tough to deliver worry-free, pulse-free fluid handling
